Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Hello!

My name is Julia Angermeier, and it is my pleasure to serve as Chi Lambda’s Chapter President. Since my bid day in Fall of 2017, Alpha Omicron Pi and its members have been supportive, devoted, and have lead me to be the woman I am today. The bonds made with my sisters will not only last in college, but will last forever.

Here in Alpha Omicron Pi, we value character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty. Each sister upholds these values in her everyday life. I see strong character in the sister who takes the time out of her busy schedule to volunteer. I see dignity in the sister who holds herself to a high standard. I see scholarship in the sister who works hard and receives grades to get her into graduate school. I see college loyalty in the sister who not only participates in AOII, but is also a leader in many other organizations on campus. In the Chi Lambda Chapter, we take pride in our diversity, inclusiveness, and ambition. Every member is inspired to not only be to better women but to also better members of the community.

As Chapter President, my goal is to make this year the best yet by spreading positivity and being supportive. Each woman of this chapter provides a certain element that no one else can. I want each member to be able to shine, succeed, and grow into the best versions of themselves. When sisters graduate, I want them to feel the support and “alpha love” like each alumnae did before them. It is an honor to lead this chapter and I will be forever grateful of the opportunities I have been given as a member. I am proud to call myself an Alpha Omicron Sister. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
